Band is thriving in Crystal Lake D47. Our students develop technique in 5th Grade with one of 10 instruments. Use this site to help you decide the best choice for you.
We have performance opportunities for Grades 5-8 throughout the year, including our annual Solo & Ensemble Festival in February.
D47 band students continue to build skills in middle school as they work through 40 Units of Study in three method books.
